South Africans aside, the report says the water was murky and it was perfect for a shark attack. Why do people swim in murky water at that time of day?
Esp given there were seals in the water too... might as well be asking to be eaten.
'It was dark and gloomy water, overcast skies, light rain falling, there was whale action in the bay and some seals about,' he said.
Horrible way to go but I never swim in murky water in early morning or early evening. It's feeding time.
