Default Seated in a hotel in Perth

I'm surrounded by Englishmen: when normally I have little contact.

They are all gabbling at 100 miles an hour..exaggerated facial expressions and ticks..

Some of these expressions I recognise from parts of the Uk I am familiar with, but not intimate with.

even a bit hyperactive.

It's times like this I question whether my own countrymen are as sophisticated as the members of BE might suggest...!

Clearly this is not the cream of the bunch...(it's Ok I'm realistic about it all!)

As a matter of fact the beer is fine...I've just had a pint of Fat Yak.

they are banging on about drinks...
plenty of run-on sentences, incomplete sentences, use of same noun 3 times in incomplete sentences...

ha! they are talking about roos and koalas....Got it! They are tourists ...I think...

G...I'm enjoying Perth this time...must be my 11th trip...

Coopers I can drink....the rest of them, like Little Creatures for example, are OK for a while but I find they start to taste a bit cloying after a while.....Much like many American beers

I defer to you on this subject; as a matter of fact I find British Bitter the most cloying of all...but I stress I am no authority.

Ha....a staff member is about to bring me the Minimum Chips...
I'll report back..

There's a chance I'm easily pleased!

and talking about the pajamas in Business class..and the little things...the size of the chairs...
it's a hop away from Aisle one of Safeways...or a million miles even...!

I'm out of here....this is Badge who had just witnessed the antics of the Little Englander...what a prize! (But not such a rarity perhaps...we're on to the toilets and food in Egypt now!)

agreed. we were there in early Jan and had a inward smile at the sign that stated so proudly this place had been refurbished... must have replaced the wood that holds the glasses as everything else was threadbare or broken (carpet / seats).

Hotel adjoined was nice however, Novotel Langley. We were upgraded however so no idea what the normal rooms were like. I can imagine Novotel may not be overjoyed to be associated but you never know.

Hubby liked the Fat Yak very much.
