Start on Sunday with boiled brisket (even better slow cooker on saturday night!)
Conserve any beef dripping and gravy
shred left over brisket, chop an onion & soften in the dripping, add shredded beef and plenty of cubed potatoes. Add gravy and top up with water. Cook until potatoes are mush with lumps left. Check seasoning

Eat!

Had it for my tea this evening up here in Inverness!

My mum's are ace, here's the recipe

Leftover roast beef, tatties and onions.

Brown a large onion in oil and add sliced tatties (raw) with a heaped tablespoon of bisto.
Then add beef (cut into small pieces) and a small amount of water, salt and pepper.
cook in oven for an hour and hey presto.

OK - looks like a Scotch pie. Pastry is 100%.
Filling is not greasy enough, a bit too dense and tastes more like a sausage roll.

Should be called Scotch-ish pies.
