Default school holidays

has anyone taken their kids to the pictures to see any of the films that are out at the moment?
we went to see the journey to the centre of the earth in 3D last week. the technology has definately improved, just a shame they seem to have to do a story by-pass to enable them to film in 3D though. have to say it wasnt too bad a film, it was enjoyed by my 11year old son-its target audience I guess.

My youngest went to see some robot thing the other week, Wally or something. Said it was total crap. Eldest has been a couple of times to see various things but the main one she wanted to see. Tropic Thunder, she managed to snog her way though and missed 90% of

my kids went to see the chihuahua (spelling??) movie. even my 7yr old said it wasnt as funny as the trailers that she had seen for it. saying that, it didnt stop her asking to buy the puppy that we saw the same afternoon in the local pet shop!

We thought Wall-e was quite good... kids loved it... went to see Tropic Thunder and fell about laughing! (Ben Stiller is a big hit in our family)

Old bloke took our son to see The Mummy 3... he said that it wasnt any good..

Going to take daughter to see the new disney dog one... old bloke and son have point blankly refused to go... I feel quite sorry for my little girl.. the number of Star Wars and other boys films she has had to sit thru and endure! (she is quite girly) and they won't do it for her.. I gave them both a mouthful and have promised to take her to the cinema in Noosa next week!

Em x
