Re: "The Scheme"

I have been watching the scheme and apart from the shaky scottish unintelligable accents, that could be the place that I am from.

Its not great, but at least most people are real and its a community.

The Pullman is a soulless joint. I sometime have a pint there when I'm on the cycle track.

I 've seen many shitty areas in Victoria .
I live in Scotland and I'm delighted my kids are not growing up in Australia.
Why are you laughing at the end of your post?
I think that you'll find that you're probably not far up the scale from the people you mock.
Affluent areas in the Uk are vastly superior on all levels to anywhere I could find in Australia.

I used to live there,:), and , of course wot they're not showing you is the decent folks, i know (marvin's) mum and dad and sis well and i can assure you all they are extremely decent folks and will be mortified with the whole thing, wonder if the fact his little sis done extremely well at school and is now considering uni will get a mention!!!!! or that the surrounding schools are excellent!!! offering a much better standard of education than my kids are currently recieving at public schools in vic...................cue the drug jokes!! (and yes drugs are just as available in some of the schools here!).

Dont get me wrong i laughed my head off at the comical tragedy of it

Are some of these people even human? Occasionally you can hear them attempting to speak English. At least, I think that's what they're trying to do.

Vash, they all have strong ayrshire accents! like everyone else in the town, go further to cumnock and the accent gets even thicker

I think the drug dealers and the people in the scheme are the end results of a bigger picture, I am sure they're are drugh dealers around that people on this site would love, with big houses, posh accents and bmw's and probably mortgage free.

Yes he is Rach, but i would give my right arm, to be living in the gorgeous scottish town he is now! inmho he did exactly the correct thing for himself and his family and at least he is back with family, unlike us poor orphans here, lol!!
