Sausage, egg and chips
The other day I was feeling quite lazy so i made sausage egg and chips for tee. The kids just looked at it and went ewghhh. We have been in Oz now for over three years and the kids are 13 and 15. And they cant remember having this Great British staple supper. Any one else with similar experiences..... By the way The kids absolutly love it.:D

I do have a vague memory of my Aussie husband telling me it was a very odd combination to have as a meal - he preferred eggs with pork chops! Only cooked it a couple of times though before I realised the reasons Aussies don't eat it is cos their sausages are vile :sneaky:

Ask your husband what you put on a pizza to make it an 'Aussie' ? The most ridiculous thing since anchovies.
