One of my favourite Architects has left us.
Did some work for her many years ago, hard as nails, but a brilliant designer.

I would urge everyone to listen to her recent appearance on Desert Island Discs. It can be downloaded as an mp3 at the following address:

She certainly left her mark in architecture.
She has two current DA's in south east qld btw.
Inner Brisbane (approved but in court due to legal action from a neighbour):

Gold Coast (proposed):

Really like the Gold Coast proposal. The main criticism of her always seemed to be she ignored a particular locations context and just designed what she wanted to. I can see that in the podium of her Gold Coast design but the towers are just so nice.

I had the pleasure of helping out a bit on this one. Canned by the GFC.
