. . . and as an aside, when did Lee Evans start swearing to the extent he does now? . . . wasn't very impressed by his latest offering to be honest.

I never found Norman Wisdom very funny, and Lee Evans is even less so. At least Norman had gentle comedy. Why do people have to swear all the time??

It was an innocent type of comedy then wasn't it? Times have changed, we've changed and, at the very least, most of us have grown up 
He'd go down very well in some parts of Asia where the humour is very "obvious", slapstick kind of thing. You can stand in a Post Office queue in Singapore and watch people almost wet themselves laughing at Mr Bean.
I've no idea if Lee Evans has started swearing, I avoid him like the plague. He certainly sweats a lot.
