Me? No idea yet! Going to take a few weeks to look around when we get there. Have a few ideas but need to check the commute to the CBD as thats were OH will probably be working. He likes the look of Ashgrove but it's a bit pricey for us. Don't want to keep our eldest out of school for to long though. Hopefully get some good ideas from BE and friends who live there between now and July/August. Not had the chance to do a reccie as house hasn't sold.

Ashgrove is brilliant thats where I used to live. I would give my right arm to go back there asap, but we are on the ex pat thing for a while. It is expensive your right, but you get so so close to the city living but in a georgeous leafy suburb. Very very low crime rate. Not so much of the cafe culture but its changing a lot, and paddingtion is a short drive or walk away. Good choice of schools too, the Gap would be your closest high school, which is a very good school.

The Gap, Paddington, Ashgrove, Keppera ...
All very expensive nowadays
Even a run down old Qld'er thats on the tilt, is gonna set you back.
Anything with a city scape view, add 50-100k
