They'll be fine though, it's the poor buggers who have to go out and attempt rescue who'll suffer. I wish natural selection worked better sometimes.

What was more bizzare, yesterday I was admiring her pure white skin, something not easy to do in aus, today in the black outfit she has a real orange tan. How on earth would you fit in a fake tan with all this going on

Vim Creek News to anyone interested ... seems steady at a comfortable level and roads are passable. I think we can relax for the evening but will obviously stay vigilant.
The upsides of all this is everything 'vital' is packed and we are ready to go real quickly.

Plenty of sightseers out there according to the OH, I am going nowhere near the roads unless necessary.
OK, maybe a quick trip to the bottle shop

I'm trying to decide whether to go to work tomorrow...
according to the BCC maps from their website I may not get very far - but if I can get out of the end of my street there is a circuitous route I could take to get there and just miss all the flood effected areas...
..Once I'm at work I have to decide whether or not to cancel a vital appointment I 've got with a guy flying up from Sydney for Thursday... hmmm decisions decisions!
