Yeah, but it's a referendum about having a referendum. Surely those figures suggest at least having a referendum to decide whether we want it or not. THEN you would get true voter demographics

The only people I know of who bang on about having it are a very few Brits on here. Vast majority of friends and work mates are from interstate and none of them want it or could care less.

But that DOES make sense...Adelaide is obviously way further west than Melb and Syd...Brisbane on the other hand.

Can we please stop this crap about 'oh just pretend it is daylight saving and change your own clocks'. Well, trains don't change, neither do shop opening times, neither do my work hours, neither do all the businesses I have to deal with on a 9 to 5 basis. Neither do the tv programmes I like to watch, neither do my kids school and kindy hours.

So its complete bollox to say just change my hours and get on with it.

Quite apart from the daylight saving issue....Queensland is just backward, lets face it

Doesn't sound like you need daylight. What difference will an extra hour of daylight make to someone who is stuck in stations, on trains, at work and then in front of the TV?

mmmmm

A bit like - "NSW - towards 2000". Are they going backwards 10 years - or is it a speed limit they're aiming for.
