Re: President Donald Trump
It's worth saying again: Trump and Carson are the only politicians (I'm not sure about Bernie) who have never voted to bomb and drone villages and wedding parties in Afghanistan and Palestine. I really don't understand why the bombings and general military ruthlessness are considered to be A Good Thing, by so many people on this thread.
Maybe Trump would adopt the psychopaths' idea of ethics, as President. He may become a mass murderer just like them. But he isn't there yet, and may never get there.

Surely Ted Cruz could run for president without being officially nominated by Republicans? All he needs to do is pick up the establishment nominations that won't back Donald Trump and trail along as a third place until Donald Trump gets exposed to the wider public and implodes.

Re: President Donald Trump
So I've been in the US all week. This stuff just rules the TV. It's interesting to watch this stuff and watching the "smart yanks" actually getting behind DT.
Despite Garry's previous suggestion it was dumb white men who are supporting him, the people who traditionally may support the republicans, who are dissolutioned with some of the far right antics find him appealling. On top of that many of the traditional democrate voters who are sick of seeing tradtional democrat "no action" are liking what they see.
He certainly appeals. Many of his views straddle both side. It would be tough for DT to loose from here.

They don't seem to think that over here. They think he'll walk the election, providing the Republicans don't screw him over, which is considered the biggest possibility.

On the 'Clinton will walk it' side we have the current polls, and the certainty that Trump will say something openly repulsive between now and Nov, and that it will stick, combined with the likelihood of criminal charges coming his way as well.
All in all, too up in the air for anyone's liking.

On the 'Trump will walk it' side we have the likelihood that republican sympathisers will make those email allegations stick, plus that Trump will campaign more interestingly than Clinton.

As far as Hillary is concerned, I'm less convinced the allegations have weight, knowing what I do of classification. However, they are easier to make stick.
Let's just say I expect this to get settled in the courts, not the ballot box.
Personally, I wouldn't give either of them the job - but talent seems to not be a determining factor any more.

The Donald was skewered by Megyn Kelly say the headlines - I wouldn't mind skewering Megyn Kelly

Any comparison with Trump to that asshole is pathetic, lacks any kind of legitimacy and is basically leftie/hater nonsense
