How is the job hunting going. I am now in the same boat. My fixed term ends in a few weeks and I wasn't successful in getting the job I have been doing for 3 bloody years. Smack in the face that is. So I need a job, no more than 3 days a week. I am a fantastic secretary, great interpersonal skills, organisation skills etc. Anyone in Perth need such a person then I am your man!!!

Lots of positive vibes for me too please!!

I suppose it's not as bad as my neighbours complaining when hubby used a jackhammer to bust concrete in our back garden.

Neighbour "how long is this going to go on for?"

Me "well it is concrete, so I'd imagine all day"

Neighbour starts to moan!

Me "sorry but it has to be done and besides, the hammer has been hired for today, noubt we can do bout it. Anwyay, what's the problem, do you have sick kids or summit?"

Neighbour "no we have people coming round for a barbie"

Me "soz, we aint psychic"

Neighbour "well it's plan b then isn't it" and storms off in a huff.

Me - :D:hand::argue::boxing::rofl:

Caroline, you can have all of mine and, if I can make any more, I'll send a few across the harbour as and when, OK?

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Let's hear it for the Illawarra. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

As a region, that's just had a massive kick in the balls, with the announcements from Bluescope Steel and its knock on effects to the port, it's still turned out in force for the i98 Convoy.

For those who don't know, which is probably most of you, the Convoy is an annual event, put together by truckies, to raise case for disadvantaged kids in the area. There are 500 trucks and 600 bikes currently stretched out all through the Gong to Shellharbour in a massive convoy. The local aviation museum have even arranged to have their pride and joy, 'Connie'; the only remaining airworthy Boeing Constellation, doing flypasts.

They expect to raise $500,000 this year.
