which plot?

which plot?
Just looking for a bit of advice.
We're thinking of buying a plot, have got the plan, but not sure which plot to go for. The front of our present house faces east, so we get the morning sun at the front and evening sun on the lounge. Just wondering if there was a 'better' plot to go for, in terms of the aspect? If my head is in bits now, choosing a plot, god help me when it comes to choosing house design

The optimum position for living areas is supposedly N/E. Depends on the design of the house, but assuming that your main living rooms will be at the back of the house, then plots 5767-5772 look best, followed by 5752-5755.

Re: which plot?
Main bit of advice I can give you is don't call it a plot - that's where you will be buried. Call it a block and you should be right

Re: which plot?
My only bit of advice is dont pick a corner block....as you then have two street frontages and need to be a certain distance back from both....reduces the size of your plot somewhat.

Re: which plot?
Thanks guys for that - it has really helped
Hopefully we'll be lucky enough to get one of these 'blocks'
Our living areas face east and must say it's a nightmare on a hot summer afternoon - it's bloody warm even with the blinds closed.
