At least he's honest.

The radio in the car refuses to do AM, this bugs me when the sport is on.

First Born took it upon herself to post a 10c coin into our car's CD player. We can't get it back out. It can still play CDs, but only if you're driving on a very straight and non-bumpy stretch of road (heaps of those in Sydney!); first corner you encounter the coin moves and the CD stops working.

The Gorilla spewed cottage cheese all over me and I now honk.

I am struggling to remember why having children seemed like a good idea.

We had squirrels in the garden when the kids were toddlers and the boys were fascinated by them. Hours they'd sit by the patio doors and watch the bushy tailed rodents running up and down the oak trees in the garden.

One day, Peggy bloody Patch had squirrels at her stop on the Playbus. The boys were concerned that they had nothing to eat and decided to 'feed' them by posting handfuls of acorns into the video recorder.

Could have been worse I suppose, it could have been tubby custard.

Did you see the numbers quoted on TV the other night for speed camera revenue...I believe it went something like:

NSW: $80m
Qld: $77m
Vic: $280m

Yeah, it's effing ridiculous. What's worse (in Vic) is that they are doing people for 3km/h over the limit! No wonder the revenues are so high.

A note about the astro turf possibility. We have a small patch of back yard with astro turf. It looks nice and quite natural but it is impossible to stand on with bare feet when the sun gets on it - it is just too hot - so to me that makes it unfit for purpose. Worth bearing in mind if anyone is considering this as an option.
