Re: Petty Worries.

Trying to remove the radiator from my motorbike to straighten the fins that were damaged from steam cleaning but one of the screws holding the stone guard is stuck fast and now the phillips head is stripped too! :banghead: Going to get some WD40 tomorrow (or whatever the Aussie equivalent is) and will try to turn the screw into a slot headed one.

On the plus side, today I replaced the plunger on the laundry room fly screen door and now it swings closed smoothly and quietly. No more crashing shut

Hmm, petty worries...

Tumble dryer finally gave in after 10 years. No point in replacing it as we move in July. Means using an airer for 6 months though, I hate living in a laundry!

Dental bill this morning of £450. Not impressed, trying to console myself that same work in Oz would probably run into $1000's....husband isn't impressed either :(

Laptop has started to overheat (much like myself in this heat without air con!) and I don't have any precision screwdrivers to clean the heatsink and fan

Lawnmower repair guys expert opinion:
"Its f&^ked - these things are really shit lawnmowers in the first place you should never have bought it - Its a piece of crap and the repair would cost more than its worth..." , He only gave me that opinion after refusing to look at it for 2 weeks because, "I've got a shop full of better mowers to look at - so I'll look at yours once I've dealt with the decent ones"

Obviously a highly motivated professional with excellently honed customer service skills.

As the cyclone swirls, the fighters fight, the volcanoes bubble, the bombs blast and the blizzards bite... what's insignificantly irritating in your world right now?

Speed tax cameras. :frown:
