have only just discovered this thread and thought I'd join as we're off to Perth this year as well. We've already got the visa. House will go on the market end of March and then we'll be off when it's sold.

Today I've gone through every room in the house and made a list of "things to do" before the house goes on the market. It's now a very long list YIKES [scared smilie].

Anyway, nice to have a positive "Perthites" thread.

Is it correct that once your visa is granted it is only valid for 6 months?
