Looking to emmigrate in Jan 2010, but still not sure where I'd like to be based - Perth (Rockingham) or Sydney.

Any ideas / advice?

Please believe me there is no contest..Sydney everytime...and this is from someone that tried the single lark in Perth.

Its a bit like comparing Torquay with Blackpool.

As a dedicated Melburnian I'd still give it to Sydney.

Totally different if you were comparing Melbourne and Sydney.

wow. i was expecting to start a bit of an argument - i didn't think everyone would be in such agreement! is the difference really that massive!?

I'm coming over this summer for a few months to have a look round anyway - think I'll still take a look at Perth - I've heard to many good things (although I'm a little disappointed at the lack of rugby league!)
