I am seriously considering not emigrating now.
If I can't get an Asda "good for you" vegetarian lasagne, how will my children get their 5-a-day?

I have been told if I swim in the sea I will die! I will be eaten by sharks and crocodiles. Has anyone on here been ate by a shark or a crocodile?

I've heard that QLD is banjo-playing redneck country. Is this true??

They are not crocodiles. They are Lacoste sleeping bags. You'd pay a fortune for one in Milan!!

Is it true that if I bring my 52inch plasma UK tv then the picture will be upside down when I use it in Oz?

I am leaving the UK cos of all the immigrants. Where shall I live in Oz that will have nice friendly Brits as neighbours and I can buy British food locally? Of course, it has to be near the sea, near a shopping centre, near the city, excellent schools for my 'oh so clever' kids, near transport, not expensive, central heating, double glazing, huge garden (bla bla bla).

Can I claim benefits straight away? Can I keep claiming the UK child benefit? Can you tell me your story of what happened when you left your credit card debts behind cos I have a lot and don't want to pay them off before I leave.

Sorry, so many questions, but it's my first time on here.

I have been offered a job paying $25,000 a year - is this enough for a family of 7 to live on?

BTW I will be working in Sydney CBD and want to live within 30 minutes walk of the office.

Does the water really swirl and flush down the toilet in the opposite direction?

No, but be careful because the water will go down the plughole the wrong way and that attracts huntsman spiders.
