Default Passport question

I am wondering if anyone has been refused entry on their passport photo. Just had one taken for my application and I wouldn't let me back in My fringe was to long so had to pull it back look like male, long haired, slap head bogan. Have now cut my fringe and am off to have number 2 photo taken as I cannot live with that on my passport for 10 years. Will scan and post later for your entertainment......

The passport office wouldn't accept the first 2 lots I sent to them. In the end I had to pin my fringe back off my forehead and take my glasses that I wear all day off. Looks nothing like me!

It's the Post Office round here that's the problem. When I took my passport application in to them to forward to Canberra the lady behind the counter refused to accept the photos because "your eyes are too small".

Re-did the photos (strangely, my eyes didn't change in size...) and this time the same woman rejected them because "it shows you smiling". (it was actually a neutral, relaxed expression).

Re-did the photos: this time the same b*tch rejected them - "wrong size". I (relatively) patiently explained that she was wrong: all the photos had been made exactly to the size in the notes, both in overall size and head size.

"Ah yes", she said, "the photo is the correct size - but it doesn't have a white border around it". "Where exactly", I said, "does it specify a white border?"

"Oh, the notes don't say anything about a white border", she said, "but the photo must have one".

I took all the photos to another Post Office 4 miles away and they said they would accept any of them.

LOL.....

It was me that rejected mine not the post office, the phots shop we go to are hot on the sizing, we havent had any rejected before (and nor have they apparently). I havent been with applications yet, gonna make appt next week at post office.

Applications are considerably easier than uk ones as anyone can sign (more or less) as guarantor. But I still manage to cock up one. Should be an expert seeing as i did about 100 for son in navy and he STILL hasnt done the application yet.

That is so funny

You should have said "good job it's not you misses, your gob would be too big"

How daft this malarky.

I've never really thought of myself as vain..... until the last time I had passport photos done! I must have tried 5 photobooths and several different tops (black made me look so pale) and expressions until I got one I thought was just about acceptable.

I think it's just the thought of having to live with it for 10 long years
