My brother and sister are under strict instruction that if my mother ever considers flying out they will kill her Failing that (It's guaranteed she will live to be 100 + just to spite her mother) that they all have to come at the same time and find somewhere else to stay. I feel sick just imagining her here

I think you're a saint hon.

Opening the wine as we speak.

I took them to the wildlife park today and they LOVED that. My dad is really amazed with seeing the koalas... He said he'd waited 60 years to see a koala ... and that it was a childhood dream fulfilled.
He's so easy to please.

I obviously have no knowledge on the subject but I'm guessing there is probably a Saint Annabel somewhere in the past. It has that sort of ring about it Ask your mother, she'll know

found this....??

Nancy
Nan, Nanette, Ann, Anne, Anita, Anna, Annabel, Annabella, Annette, Hannah grace Saint Ann was the mother of Mary and the grandmother of Jesus.
Saint Anne Line converted to Catholicism at a time when people were arrested for this. She fearlessly helped others survive the persecutions, and her home became a rallying point for Catholics. Fully aware of the possible cost to her life, she hid a priest and held Mass in her home, but was arrested and hanged for it.

Red face Re: The parents are here...

Hello

I have just had relatives for 12 weeks non stop (plus i have just had a baby 3 months ago)

It was the worst mistake letting them come one after the other i have never chewed so much and bitten my tongue all 3 sets (mother 5 weeks/auntie 3 weeks/mother in law 3 weeks)all they wanted to do was the washing/prepare tea for the night it was just awful (we just dont organise anything and i like it that way) there are tons of other things but i cannot be bothered to write them down.

i have no idea how i did not get postnatal !!! :curse:

me and the partner are hardly speaking i dont know if i am coming or going

every visit we have had has been terrible i have been here 18 months and i know one thing i have not come further away in airmiles !!!

i am thinking of you ipom and everyone else. i am at this moment preparing a dos and donts list for the next time (if there is)

lindzi

p.s i am having a break for at least 3 more years !!

My dad is coming over to visit in feb 08, he was coming with his wife (my step mother who is a bitch) but they have decided to split up
Problem is, he is now bringing a friend from his hiking club who i've never met.
Bit concerned in having a strange guy in the house with my wife and 2 daughters aged 12&8

Yeah, that's a worry... You should tell your dad you're concerned about having someone you don't know in your house...
If it's your dad's mate, then either your dad and him should find accommodation on their own, away from the house, until you do know him. It's not really your dad's place to invite strangers to your home, is it?!

Thanks ipom ! i know i dont know what possesed me to say yes

anyway you learn by your mistakes

i mean i am laughing about it but its been bloody hard work.i feel awful about how i have felt at times (about wanting to be as a family on our own) but i just thought they would of understood but i was very wrong and i feel family can be the worst for it sometimes in regards to how they act and behave.

i have been sooooooooooooo good not to blow my top and say what i have thought at times ! :curse:

i think they have forgot that i sorted everything to get us here and we have been on our own for 18 months
