Tendency to attract residents who bang on endlessly about the place probably boring others to tears

It will almost certainly be a local issue with booze. Although I never knew about it in relation to Broom before... plenty of other outback country towns but not Broom uptil now.

Positive: Nice wearther. The road out.

Negative: Broome is rough as guts, been there a few times. Any time of day there will be someone screaming abuse at someone else in the street.

In 2010 I saw someone get stabbed. Constantly hassled for booze/fags/money.

Human shit on the pavement.

Got attacked by a dog as I walked to hospital because I copped an eye injury defending the place from bushfires!

All the "locals" from Halls Creek, Fitzroy Crossing etc... where there are stricter alcohol restrictions come to Broome for the grog.

I hate Broome with a passion.

Everywhere is paradise if you live in a shite part of Britain.

However, if you live in a decent part of Blighty, everywhere in Australia is shite.

the troubadour

Very much locals.For a start some of the pubs used to be rough you could say and easy to get into a blue without trying. There are some serious issues out on the streets with elements of the population that can be very annoying.Some very self destructive behaviour and violence is not far from the surface.
Just before the New Year read a foreign backpacker girl wandering back after a hard night at one of the local boozers took a wrong turning and ran into serious trouble.
To be fair this is far from being Broome centric and is rather common across the entire region and into NT.

Constant Improvements
Some very leafy older suburbs with character
Warmer Winters
Queen St Mall
Big name bands play here
Easy to find things to do/see North and South

- Very Concrete/square/1960's 'new town looking in City Centre
Seemingly lower intelligence of inhabitants (who me sweeping generalisations? )
No beaches nearby
No Daylight saving

Fantastic Vista into the city from the Adelaide hills
Easy to get around
Surpringsly good food and bars and pubs.

Goes into a mourge like state on a Sunday
Small town Vibe
Most Feral City inhabitants I've ever came across... Even the Grannys are loopy.
(Worst accent in Aus)

Ok more for South Adelaide Or I'll nominate Bendigo or Ballarat.
