Don't worry, imagine speaking to a 4 year old and limit your vocabulary to that and you will be just fine. Oh and add 'o' or 'i' or 'ie' to the end of everything. "I saw a bikie having a tini with his bickie at the barbie, He had his mates Bono, jono, brad, and jimbo with him" you get the idea....

Sounds like an Aussie version of Cockney slang (which I hate) so thats another thing to get used to!

Funny you say that the day after we were discussing it, i heard Travis on Big Brother say it again and first thing that came into my head was " i hope Birdy is watching" lol

I probably avoid any programme where the word would be uttered.
Had a funny one, at the local servo getting some wood for the burner. Nice chap who serves me told me the garage owners wife had been filling bags herself last nite 'up ont border ranges'......I didnt bother saying anything (as I have before) but its offcuts they sell, obviously from the woodyard.
Either hes a bit dim or thinks I am very stupid, 'oh look, these bits of wood happened to fall off the tree looking like offcuts'.....
