Just back from a week's snowboarding, hi to the new folk. Seems to have been a bit quiet over the last week! For those that know the delays I've had with my 457 visa, things FINALLY seem to be moving forward. Still no ETA but it looks like the disputes are more or less resolved, although I'm probably tempting fate by saying that.

Welcome back scuba baby, hope boarding was good. Has been very quiet on here, everyone seems to have gone on holiday or something. I'm off to a pony show for the weekend. :blink:

Welcome, new peeps!! I have been "quiet" recently because probs with lad and school AND my monitor is playing up - it keeps switching itself off, (seemingly) when the heating in the house has been on for more than an hour:confused: and it has been cold here last week or so. Seriously, that is the only link I can make as sometimes it is just fine. I am determined not to buy another one before leaving!! (Do I sound like a right tightarse?:o)

PCC arrived last week-end, scanned and e-mailed off to DIAC. Meds went off Thursday hopefully - nothing else I can do now.

Time is marching on. Who was it that was going to give me a push in May to give in my notice even if I don't have visa by then???? Xzibit?? You ready for this?? :eek:

Glad to hear peoples visa apps are getting on well...I've finally heard from the company that their immigration dept is working on what visa's we will need and what we need to get them etc...

Now I need to find my passport so I can send it off for renewal!!

Doubt it - you have CO - lucky devil!! Actually it feels worse having done everything in a perverse way - I now have no control over any of it:lol: Sending it up with karma to my higher being (what an old hippy:lol:)
