Thanks for all the support
Still no idea why she died although there was massive internal bleeding. Everything was tried, there were 3 ambulances in attendance but it was too late
Her mother found her - that's got to be so tough to experience. She is destroyed
Apparently the kids are okay so far but I don't think its sunk in yet, the worst for them is still to come unfortunately

Terrible news, hope your wife can find comfort in thinking of the good times.

Really terrible news, particularly for her family, but also for yours, and all others who knew her.

Life doesn't make sense sometimes. My thoughts go out to those poor kids who no longer have their mum, their dad who's lost his wife, and those who are near and dear to the family.

I also got news yesterday that one of my old Uni pals (who I haven't had much contact with the last 10 years or so) lost a long battle with breast cancer last year.
In our Uni friend network at the time (mostly guys), both of the two women in our little group have now sadly passed away to breast cancer over the last few years and way too young (the first was aged 38 and now the recent one was 44)

Re: numb...sad...f**ked up
Life is taken all too soon! A local lady is loosing her fight with cancer at the moment so it's all a little raw. She's got children in both my boys classes and you can't work out what to say. Only blessing is she's been fighting it for 2 yrs so some would say it'll come as a relief and she's had time to say her goodbyes.
Unlike your friend Amazulu. So sad. A friend of mine lost her best mate in a similar fashion, lived next door to each other, grew up together, husbands were best mates etc. Her friend was feeding her baby in his highchair and just fell the floor. No-one else at home. It was only when her husband tried to ring her at lunch time that the alarm was raised. I always think of that poor little boy sat in his highchair. Thankfully too young to remember. It was a brain haemoriage (sp?) for her. No warnings.
