Due to Australia Day I have had 3 days where no visa grant was likely (although Ive still checked) so now that DIMIA are back at work Im checking my email every five minutes to see if my case officer has sent me anything. Anybody else waiting for a visa grant (and I know there are quite a few of us) who is also doing this?

We are also waiting, bond lodged 28th december...everything all done and dusted....we also think it will be this week hopefully. need to get the house up for sale!!!! we are also using an agent, so its office hours for us too. Not sure if its ian harrop who lets us know or the sue who deals with the correspondence who will let us know. but not sleeping too well at the moment in anticipation of getting the grant....
I am surprised there are so many of us waiting, I havent known it like this before.
I have taken a few days off work this week, so will be watching emails like a hawk.

Our meds and AOS were sent off just before xmas and we got our visas granted on 12th Jan - the date is etched in my mind forever now. Hopefully this will be your week.
Doesn't stop you forever checking your e-mails though - there is so much to do - which is why I am sitting at my pc at this time in the morning. I now have insomnia.

You're not alone, we have a co and are in the process of having meds etc., so they havent even received the results or pcc's yet, so why do I keep checking my emails every 5 mins too
It must be the strain or I'm secretly hoping they are going to email me and say don't worry about the meds and stuff you can have your visa anyway
- now that would be good. Gotta go, got to check me emails!!S xx

Hi Louise,
We are in a similar position.
My Husband left work on the 31st of December..so no wages coming in anymore
We have accepted an offer on the house and exchange is supposed to take place this week.
We have been offered a reasonable price on the car, but cannot sell at present because we don't know what is going on!
I wonder why there seems to be such a big delay, its never been like this before with so many people literally just waiting for Visas to come through.
