rainbow beach is our usual camping place at Easter - we camp at Inskip. I expect we will go this year too. Its bush camping so although its busy you can usually get in. WE went at christmas too and it was perfect then, waking up looking at the sea with a damp mongrel and 3 sandy kids is my idea of a good time these days.

We just tried to book some accom in the bunya mountains for easter, the prices are amazing about $1500 for 3 nights. Not going to bloody Noosa one of us works there about 70 hours a week

We are dedicated 'double island pointers' but you do need a 4wd,but what better than to wake up to the sound of the surf breaking on the shore and to run out of the tent into the waves?

Much better than waiting to use the showers at a site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you find somewhere Jazzys.

I think you can camp at Noosa North Shore and parts of Inskip point with a 2wd.
