We've camped at Noosa Tewantin Caravan Park (Australia Day weekend this year) and at Noosa River Caravan Park (couple of years ago). Both were good, but preferred the Noosa River one as great location by the river.

I would maybe avoid St Johns, it allows dogs and is a nice spot but I went for a look around - didnt think it was a great place to stay
Tewantin is lovely.
I have a meeting in the morning in Noosa if you want me to look at anything

You can camp on the beach, and at Freshwater, at Cooloola national park, but only if you have a 4wd
Visit Rainbow beach and double island point, its beautiful.

Noosa gets very busy at any holiday period so you would be well advised to book in advance

Hi
Just come back from camping at Rainbow Beach today, had a Brilliant time.
The site we stayed on was nice, it was nex door to the river so if you fish you will enjoy it. Good camp kichen as well.
We also went up to Freshwater with me holding my breath as I have a Honda CRV and it is recommeneded for 4x4 only.
While you are there you have to got to Carlo Sandblow. make sure you take your camera.
