I did read that on FB because a couple of friends had posted with concern for kids at the schools. The guy would have to be at least a couple of stubbies short of the old six pack if he didn't realise the trouble he was going to be in for that one.

Only thing I don't get is why they were photographed on small beds with their tops pulled up to show their stomachs. I mean obviously they're obese but why do we need to see the flesh? It doesn't make they fatter

Same photo got me too. The bellies are one thing, the size of the beds are another.

Judge allows cat company at Chelmsford Crown Court - BBC News

A pet cat has accompanied a defendant in court, after a judge gave permission for it to appear.
The black cat was wheeled into Chelmsford Crown Court in a shopping trolley by its owner, who has been charged with two counts of stalking.
Judge Charles Gratwicke said the 72-year-old defendant, from Chelmsford, was "emotionally supported" by the animal.

No wonder the weather forecast is a bit erratic.

China is being blamed for a major cyber attack on the computers at the Bureau of Meteorology, which has compromised sensitive systems across the Federal Government.

Following up... The ADF apologises, but the soldier still has to appear in court.

"The member was wearing a military uniform and carrying a training aid which resembled a replica weapon. The member was not carrying weapons or ammunition," a Defence spokesperson said.

"The member was conducting a routine individual physical training exercise in a public area, and was unaware of the disruption the training activity had caused."

"Defence apologises for the concern or disruption this incident has caused and extends its appreciation to the Brisbane community for their ongoing support."

Giant goanna snapped in Thurgoona man's backyard

A NSW man was killing time in his shed earlier this week when he came across a monster lizard in his backyard.
Eric Holland was quick enough to snap a photo of the estimated 1.5-metre lace monitor on the side of his Thurgoona home.

He's gorgeous, I'll give him a home! (the lizard not the man )
