Dont know how I would have managed without them doll.

We all arrived within weeks of each other and had a meet at Hillarys remained friends ever since.

They are all still great friends.

Some I see more than others but still consider them to be friends.

Consider mself very very lucky.

The ladies who organised the Coffee mornings at Hillary’s, unfortunately they no longer post on here, but thanks to them I have made some wonderful friends and it was a big part of helping us settle.

I'd only met her twice in the uk - but we really hit it off.
Now both families are firm friends.
We're really gutted they might be leaving oz.

LaraandBryn - they've been here almost 4 yrs now, we met them when we first moved out here and lived in Vicky Point. Lara's done numerous things for us - they collected us from the airport (too photos of us looking - ummm yes rather unflattering) they looked after our 3 boys for the day (and night) so we could hunt for accommodation they even did some grocery shopping for us, so that when we were hit with the jet lag we wouldn't starve! Lara's also made me some fantastic presents as shes very crafty! Theres so much else shes done, but I don't want her to blush XXXXXXX

Debsy. She gave us an enormous, expensive apartment in the block she managed for much less than it should have been, she drove us around, she gave us proof of address and the first thing she did, bar saying hello, was envelope First born in a long hug as she was sobbing her heart out and we were drained

There were also a few who were unwelcoming and unhelpful but they're arseholes and I've no idea if they are even still here

Wendy was brilliant before we came, when we decided to come back to Adelaide from Brisbane and when we got here

Knowing we had at least one person we could turn to if things got too confusing made a massive difference to a potentially tough time and we're both grateful.

She's also really good fun now we're here and has introduced us to people like Julia and Pat who have also been great and treated us like extended family.

Thanks to all of them

Let me tell you, it's take a lot of hard work and dedication to be an arsehole and I'm always learning. It's not a role I take lightly....

Gobbyjock - both before we went to Oz and still.

Sorchar
Sam
Streaks
Sunbather

That is not even touching down on how many people I have neverr met on this site who have been a great source of support - too many to name. Help can come in many forms and some of my most precious forms of support have come in the way of a karma message.
