Ill also add that i have just taken the morning off cleaning my house to read your entire thread and have loved it all, house is just stunning, your missus must be a saint as we knocked down our wall in our kitchen, hubby fitted new kitchen, tiled the kitchen floor and i was just wishing i could've moved out for about a month, all we got was "dont bloody walk on the floor you'll knock the tiles out of line" etc,how do i do that when we have 2 kids and need to use everything in there ? to say we had some arguments can be a little of an under statement, but it's all done now has been for about 3 months and we have now had an offer for our house, told andy best to stick to his day job sparky !! no patience for anything else but the work is good and im now happy with it all. so glad we've decided to rent for a bit when we get to oz ,dont wanna be doing any more decrating or renovating for at least 6 months when we get there, best of luck to you all as you finish everything else ;)
kels x you’ve read the whole thing? bloody hell girl you should get an endurance medal:rofl: and it wasn’t our intention to live on a building site it just sort of happened like these things do we had come out with the intention of buying new as we had been to a clarendon show home site in Sydney ( my cousin works for them ) and decided on a particular model ( we still have the brochure ) all we needed was land with vichular access we started looking at plots and a new friend of ours who works for lj hooker suggested looking at the house we now have as it was at the right price needing lots of work and the house could be bulldozed to make way for the "claredon model" but we kid of fell in love with the place and decided to renovate it instead i`m not really sure if i did the right thing as the new house would have been finished by now ;) but having said that i have genually enjoyed doing the work and its all the way i want it |

Re: on my way
mmmmmmm i remember coming home 2 weeks before christmas and MrW had finished early so decided to knock the wall between the 2 rooms down so that he could move it 3 foot to make the lounge bigger - the best thing was he didn't cover up or put anything away

Re: on my way

her response was " oh wow they nice birds mummy " followed by her trying to push me off my chair to see them, bet it's so lovely to see them in the garden all the time, So wots left for you to do in your house then , you thought about wot your gonna do when it's all finished, cos your gonna time then to explore your new country. kels x |
