I've been on this forum since the end of 2004 in various guises and lengths of time - and never have I been so disillusioned .... either advice based on experience (been in Australia for 3 years) is argued against from some arsehole who thinks they know better ...but has never actually experienced the situation/place etc - or time is spent compiling advice, only to be totally ignored.
I don't know why I bother ...experience mean nothing now?

Worth remembering that there are a vast number of lurkers on this forum who, for one reason or another, don't actively post but do get a lot from the busiest section on this busy website . For what it's worth - I reckon the haters are worse - that section of this little community of ours who seem to positively revel in bad luck, bad news stories, bad experiences and all-round world-class old-school negativity ...

for what it's worth I have gained loads from this forum and those who give out advice based on their experiences are brilliant people!
