You have to block them and delete them - if someone is blocked they can't see when you're online and can't contact you. They may still have your icon up on their msn but it'll permanently show that you're offline.
I just deleted the contacts without blocking them first. How do i block them if i have deleted them

When you're in MSN, click on your name and then click 'options', next click on to the 'privacy' tab and you should be able to see your blocked list - you can also view the list of people who have you added to msn

I must admit i just tend to leave people in my addi book unless they have been abusive to me (then they go to the top of the list coz i like it no not really)

Just because i havne't spoken to someone for a long time might just mean they have got a life and are busy! either that or they are avoiding me and i haven't got the message yet lol
