I used to go dancing nearly 20 years ago back home. Preferred the Waltz personally. Not brilliant, but got by. Just by chance I saw an advert for classes in Kingaroy. Had one harda*se teacher. If you weren't doing it right, you'd feel it (either a flick with a plastic belt or the heel of a stilletto

Used to go dancing every Saturday night at a bush hall near Kingaroy. Had alot of fun, but never went back after someone I'd met there did the dirty on me about a year later. Broke up one day, went home, packed my bags and came to Brisbane the same day. To be honest, never been dancing since.
