I think you should be able to. The instructions say you shouldn't be able to feel it when it's in... just like a tampon... and that there should be a seal between the cup and the body... I've tried it out and after a few goes, it feels right. Obviously I'm going to test this, but you def need the practice before the big day. If worried, get some pads for extra security.

Ok I was going to practice today but with all the excitement and everything (of emmigrating not the mooncup!!) guess what I started today so I'll wait till next month now. Oh well at least they'll be over with before we're travelling.

Ok not only has it come earlier it is way heavier than usual and tampons just aren't doing it so I decided to take the bull by the horns and go for it today with the moon cup.
1st time in and no leaks and it's way more comfortable than tampons even though you don't really feel them the mooncup just feels better.
I'm a convert!!
