Waking up to the Japan South Africa score
Finding some great bottles of red left over from last night unopened.
Finding one box of Pizza was not opened (and it was the meat lovers)
Monday is a holiday for working Saturday

Reading these makes me happy at a time that's horrid, thanks you everyone and huge congrats to everyone.
Trying still to find happiness in life in midst of grief so today, my son, after week of hissy fits, cursing and me helping, finally got his first ever contact lenses in by himself in record time. Totally priceless moment, maybe a minute one but after screaming for refund etc, I'm happy his confidence is back! (And maybe my sanity lol)
Also, garden is starting to bloom, always a source of happiness the time between dark & stormy and the brown of summer.

I used to do the inductions for new contact lens users when I was opticianing and I know it can be frustrating to begin with (especially as they tend to tense up when it's not going well which just makes things worse) so good on yer son for getting there 
I love this time of year. We had a bit of rain over the weekend, went out to the car this morning and the hedge is a riot of colour and beautiful aromas.
Pretty much makes up for having to flick possum poo off the roof of the car
