Yep I did get the flu shot, but this one is epidemic status in OZ right now, and not in the flu shot.

Haha, totally loving the responses! Today's happiness, found car doors wide open thanks to my teens and luckily the damn thing still started! The little things in life that can make us happy hey? And Dreamy, I can totally relate, chefs training donkeys years ago, I'm still trying to get something right that was sooooooooo perfect that one time I just improvised!

I'd be really happy if once, just fricking once, I could do a perfect poached egg. I've lost count of the number of eggs that have dissolved and then been slung in the bin.

Putting on the new work uniform for the first time and discovering that the trousers that were ordered have to go back and be replaced with some two sizes smaller - in spite of the fact I ate everything I could lay my hands on while back home during the last month!

Ok if were doing kids, son got 2 distinctions and 2 high distinctions in his first semester of UNI. Given most of them spend the first semester drunk high or whatever I was really really happy.

As for beds, I am a clean sheet nut, I like freshly sun dried sheets, twice weekly essential. And I totally freaked out when they discontinued my favorite washing liquid that smelt so nice.

Rain, like today, been no rain for the 2 weeks I have been in qld, woke up to clouds floating past the windows, mist and rain, the sound and smell of it. While in bed of course .

Can relate to that. On moving to melb the teens were new to a gas hotplate, and kept managing to leave gas on with no flame.

Luckily the damn unit did not blow up
