So I just make my own. Unfortunately it's way too scrummy so I could eat an entire pan myself and it's not exactly low calorie (or low carb for that matter) |

Cheshire, Wenslydale etc was imported here as well until Mad Cow. I wondered about this as OXO cubes still available and on checking they contain no beef. |

I was so excited when Coles had paxo in... then I got some, made it and remembered it was reconstituted cardboard in a box :)

Nice enough for me and does the job i.e. served with roast chicken or spread over chicken pieces and baked until cooked or added into minced pork as a meat loaf ingredient. |

Newcastle Brown Ale is available in most good bottle shops such as Dan Murphy's, however as a Geordie I can assure you it's a shadow of its former self, especially now that it's made in Tadcaster.

Re: Missing things from home
Restricted to Coles, Woolies, IGA and Aldi here but no black pudding
I'll stock up on a couple of kilos next time I'm in Newcastle and freeze portions. |

In The Partridge Family, David Cassidy used to iron Susan Dey's hair. Where the hell did that memory come from?:lol:
