Miserable UK Day

Miserable UK Day in Brisbane today. Sky is grey and overcast with a mizzle type rain like UK how depressing.
Role on Sun hate it when it's a UK weather day...

So my niece just told me but it's def not here, rained most of the night but normally here it doesn't get this grey flat look as there are normally there are huge storm clouds with gaps of blue inbetween.
Suppose that's what we get for being smug about all the sunshine...

I do like falling asleep to the sound of rain though !! Makes a change from Sunday night...bloody boilin', fans were back on....

Know what you mean about Saturday and Sunday both were humid had fan on Saturday and did ask someone Sunday morning was it humid or was I unwell as it was humid so early in the day.

Funny I said to hubby today looks like a uk day as well this morning.
Im from Just out side Brisbane.
Im going over in July so think I may take some warmer clothes for days like this.
My father hated the weather in uk thats why we came out here in 1971. That was the main thing the weather. been here ever since.
Mind you I always say what great skin they have when I watch uk pragramms

Suspect 'winter' is here. I'm sure from looking at the longterm averages on BOM that winter arrives earlier in Melbourne than in Brisbane, Sydney or Perth. That is, the temps drop rapidly in April. Other cities have milder temps for a bit longer.
We sort of like it as we light the wood burner.

, lower UV levels and its still 20c at least. Once finished work I am planning to walk the dogs in it, will be far more enjoyable than frying pan heat.

Cold snap here in Melbourne which might herald the colder weather.
