Default The millies awards

Im sat watching our forces being honoured for bravery and courage and i feel so humbled.
Having been a forces wife for the past 19 years ive got a lump the size of a marble in my throat. My OH is out of the army now , but next year will serving with the oz army.Once again im back to a life of never knowing if he will be coming home when he goes on tour.

For me our soldiers are true heros not some actor or footballer earning millions.

No question. But I don't think that someone (normally young) saying that xxxx is their hero, means it in the same context as real heros.

I felt very proud of them all whilst watching the Millies last night.

Also proud of the Band of Mothers, it must be so heartbreaking.
