Hi
just sorting out my tools, for shipment to Perth,
is there any point shipping out imperial spanners?
i presume most equipment in oz is metric so dont want to waste money shipping out if not needed.
i have about 3 boxes of imperial spanners so will sell em here
what do you think?

Just take your biggest hammers and a selection of adjustable spanners and you'l be right.

You'll be surprised at how much Imperial bolt work is still here. A friend of mine got a job as an aircraft tech and he had to borrow my imperial spanners because all american planes are still Imperial.
The oil and gas industry is big out here and a lot of that is Imperial for flanges.
I did a shutdown last year in a plasterboard factory and all the bolts were metric but with an Imperial head. This was a throw-back to when Australia went metric but everyone spanners wouldn't fit.
