I would just like to say hello to the person who won the $58 million last night and invite you for a holiday on the Gold Coast

Yep that is the one. They say the winner is either in NSW, VIC or Canberra. It could be you. Get that ticket checked.

Good Luck

The winner was from Vic, the ticket paid $58,737,207.41. That amount on a $50 million jackpot means the ticket was a 'system' probably a store syndicate so the prize will be split into however many shares there were.

Oh, I got excited with the first part of your sentence! OH made me buy a ticket for last night - and I was horrified that the cheapest option was $9.80. Better check my numbers in case I've won my money back

No chance. But an agent that sells a big winning ticket sees an increase in sales for the next few weeks as people think its a 'lucky' shop!

Some of us from my works decided to put some money on for the first time, none of us knowing how it works.
We put $80 worth of tickets on, and one won $5580odd. Yay. Not a bad investment. Admittedly we would have prefered the jackpot, but hey.

Just heard the tail end of the Channel 7 news last night and I'm sure they said that Kris Maynard had won a substantial amount and were talking to her. As soon as I heard the English accent I whipped my head round to see who they were talking to (I've met Kris) but just missed it. Was this our very own BE Kris Maynard?
