Andrew Barr reckons the ACT will be one of the most vaccinated cities in the world with around 99% of the eligible population fully vaccinated by the end of November. I guess it is no coincidence that the ACT’s population of just over 430,000 people is also, on average, one of Australia’s most educated and highly paid. Their median weekly income is $350 a week higher than the national median.

Pretty much and there have been several surveys that confirm it. The well educated don’t tend to go down rabbit holes quite so readily.

Here's your warning. The Palette is going to avoid Christmas political suicide.

Tell me again how you were wishing for Queensland to have a massive outbreak. Sorry to disappoint.

I know it's a scary thought that people from other states, or even worse, Queenslanders returning home, might be rubbing shoulder to shoulder with you in Coles. You've got a couple of months to get used to the concept.

Hello ......... Jeannette Young has the floor again. Someone please put the straight jacket back on the granny.

Queensland’s chief health officer has issued a grim warning to residents, claiming everyone will “end up infected with Covid” when the state reopens its borders.

CHO Dr Jeannette Young’s comments came after she said there was a “real challenge” ahead for Queensland, but the impacts could be minimised by boosting vaccination rates.

All of us are going to end up being infected with Covid, but if you’ve been vaccinated it’s highly unlikely you will be sick,” she said.

We are all of us going to end up being infected with Covid, every single person in Queensland.
