Just a quick straw poll so what people use at home and work, might be allowed multiple answers.

Looked at the new MacBooks prior to buying my new Vaio, but it was over-priced and under-powered compared to similar XP only laptops. I will be putting a dual-boot OSX on here though

After my hard drive crashed this week my laptop hasn't been the same. Might consider getting a mac can anyone give me some advantages I would get over a PC? What price for a decent model - my last laptop was £2K 18 months ago

They can now dual-boot so you can Windows XP and Mac OSX on the same machine (handy if there's some Windows applications you use all the time). Nice 2Ghz Macbook will cost you about $4000. Then there are the Sony Vaios (of which I have two, and highly recommend) - this one is nice at $2799. Or this Dell is very good value.
I currently have a harman/kardon (HP) with a 17inch screen. What I really need is a built in key pad. The USB attachments dont work for me. Will check out above.
