Don't shoot the flipping messenger here ok? A colleague brought this to my attention, I'm sharing it here:

It's no secret that I like M&S, if they came to Oz it would be smashing. If they don't then we'll all jog on as before.
That is all.

Overseas M&S's tend to be more expensive but then less hassle of mail order and returns.
I'd be happy if they came, especially if they bought their pork pies!

The M&S in Shanghai is awesome. Although we mainly ate local food over there, and enjoyed it, it was nice to get decent bread, cereals, wine etc. It also has a great cafe

I have been emailing them every 6 months saying a food hall in Melbourne would be great...!!!!

I raided the undies dept when I was back! So many pretty things......
Actually, I ended up buying quite a bit in M&S when I was there although very disappointed with the Per Una range this year.
Please, pretty please come.....(and bring pork pies...just in case you forget

I'm hanging on until December when we take a very short trip back to the UK. Last time MIL sent me underwear, bless her, it was granny pants rather than bikini briefs!!

If I had a cent for every time this was about to happen...
There are a few online alternatives....
I bought a linen jacket for the Australian summer, its ok, not spectacular, good at the price point.
I've been getting me underwear from Woolies, brand called Rio. Each pair goes for several years, in rotation!, I don't mean I wear them continously....

I have to say, I have never really understood the love for M&S.
Their bras do not go up to my size and I have had knickers from them that have fallen apart in a few months.
Their sizing and shape, especially with trousers, just do not fit me and their fashions seem to be either uber trendy or really frumpy. Nothing in the middle IYSWIM. And their shoes are just awful
Do love their prawn & mayo sarnies though
Oh, and their opaque tights where always good too.
Not keen on their website too. Don't find it particularly user friendly or intuitive.

Every 10 years is enough for any bloke, and even when they can't be worn anymore they can be used for things like cleaning paint brushes, dusting or cleaning up oil
