Default Liverpool passport office - nearest trainstation?

We have made appointments for the Liverpool passport office day service.
On the map it looks like Moorfields or James Street?
Is this what we ask for? We are not big train users - embarrassing I know

Lime Street is the nearest mainline, nearest local is James Street. You'll have to change trains and go underground to get the train there.

ETA http://www.merseyrail.org/ has times for local trains and a journey planner from lime st. Lime st is actually only 10 min walk IF you know the route. Wouldnt advise getting taxi from there as city is a mess of roadworks and one way routes & we know taxis take the p*** if you are not local )

Yeah top post Shelly

And I am sure you have sorted it yourself but if you have not then...........

1. Head south on A5038/Lime St toward A5039/St George's Pl 318 ft
2. Turn right at A5039/St George's Pl
Continue to follow A5039 0.5 mi
3. Continue on Cook St 449 ft
4. Turn right at Castle St 59 ft
5. Turn left at Brunswick St 482 ft
6. Turn right at Drury Ln
Destination will be on the right 180 ft

Liverpool Passport Office
India Building, Water StreetCity Centre, Liverpool, L2 0RB

Leave plenty of time on the return leg thou as you will pass many a decent pub on that route
