I have rarely seen it here and if we do I assume the driver is a Brit.

After driving in Australia for over 20 years the only time anybody flashed their headlights at "me" was to warn that there was a speed cop ahead.

I have never driven in England before only these past 6 months and I was waiting to turn left and was quite shocked the first time it happened when the approaching car STOPPED, flashed his headlights and waved me in!!!!!!!

Were you initially shocked at how narrow the roads in the UK are to drive on compared with Aus? Having initially driven outside of the UK, It took me several months to get fully used to them. The UK certainly brings clipping wing-mirrors to a whole new level!

Oh yes it is SCARY!!! Have you seen that film The Holiday where Cameron Diaz is driving on English country lanes? Well that's how it feels like to me even though I am used to driving on the same side of the road.

Ah those country lanes. Remember to hoot as you approach each bend

I flash my lights to let people in all the time - I often get a wave, maybe 50-75% of people.

I'll get some decent pints and the football but I can't see the Pig producing a roast dinner at 11.30 at night

These aren't little things you two - these are monumental.

Haven't had a roast for awhile, but I had one with my wife this afternoon after taking the kids swimming.

Yum.
