If Aus manages to win this, do you reckon the British Lions, as in Wales, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Eire can enlist the help of the French

It's actually a serious point - they could do with dumping AFL, it's strictly a regional game, not even national. It's opportunity cost to playing some games that others actually bother with.

Ha ha, only in the fetid imagination of some AFL board member in Melbourne. It's really only a regional sport in part of Australia.

AFL has never taken off across Australia as you say let alone in other countries. Not much chance of it ever worrying football or Rugby in popularity.
