The price of lettuce has me concerned at the moment. Normally the local papers have adverts which include lettuce, but not one of the local fruit and veg shops has it included this week....

They have:
Cauliflowers at 79c each
Avocados 19c each
Capsicums 19c kg
Wombock 79c each
Snow Peas $4.99 kg
Carrots 79c kg
Broccoli $1.99 kg
Pumpkin 39c kg
Red Cabbages 79c Kg

But not a single lettuce........

I am very tempted to take a drive down to the grand opening of the Cleveland Farmers Market today, and check out the lettuce situation.... ;)

If you go take photos of any lettuce you meet and put them on here to allay any fears BE members may have to the apparent disappearance of the great aussie lettuce:thumbup:
