He probably heard you were going!

Can I have a moan about my knee on here as well as on Facebook?

I read this first time round and really thought you meant she was setting fire to her farts.

Fortunately on the second read through, my comprehension levels improved dramatically.

Yeah, so anyway, back to me. I've hurt my knee again.

Can I hear a 'poor Dreamy' from anyone? Messages of sympathy on FB have dropped to unacceptable levels so I need to get my pity party up and rocking on here now.

Poor you.It must be terrible having a sore knee. You are probably unable to walk, run or kneel down and say your prayers.

Does that get the party started.

Poor Dreamy, hope it gets better soon.

I put my eye problem on FB, but only one person made any comment, and it wasn't my sister. She is continually moaning about her problems and I am always sympathetic- sometimes through gritted teeth- but I guess she is so wrapped up in herself that her sister's major eye problem isn't worth bothering about.

That often happens, Caroline, people just get absorbed in their own problems and don't realise that others are suffering too.

I know, but I still find it irritating, hence my grumble here.

Cockabloodytoos have just mangled my lemon and kaffir lime trees- got no fruit left on the lemon and few branches- it is strewn around the now shat-on patio, and they also pulled stuff out of the pots and chucked it in the pool.

I see you still love the cockies and view them in awe and wonder

do you think nets would help the trees?

I have netted the lemon- what is left of it. As soon as I did that it attracted the mynahs who started pecking at the thing. They must have learned that a net means something tasty underneath. Just can't win.

Grumble of the day

It's to do with drivers again! Or should I say riders.

A biker nearly ended up on my bonnet after he decided to take over a tractor on a notorious piece of country road near my house. I don't think he saw me until the last minute and I was going about 55 mph, I had to brake on so he had enough space between me and the tractor.

A$$hole!!
